Terms of Service
These terms outline the conditions for using our website and purchasing our Framer templates.
Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of archipelagy.com and digital products provided by Archipelagy, LLC (“Archipelagy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing our website or purchasing or using an Archipelagy product, you agree to these Terms, together with any applicable License Agreement, Refund Policy, and other terms presented at the time of purchase.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or products.
1. About Archipelagy
Archipelagy creates and sells digital design products, including Framer templates, components, code components, and related digital resources.
Our products are intended to assist designers, businesses, agencies, and other customers in creating websites and digital experiences.
2. Digital Products
Archipelagy products are digital goods delivered electronically.
Product descriptions, features, screenshots, demonstrations, documentation, pricing, and availability may be updated from time to time.
We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe our products. Because digital products may depend on third-party platforms, browsers, software, or technologies, their appearance or functionality may occasionally change as those services evolve.
3. Purchases and Payment
Purchases are processed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for Archipelagy products.
Lemon Squeezy handles the purchase transaction, including payment processing, billing, applicable taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and related transaction services in accordance with its own terms and policies.
Archipelagy does not directly collect or store complete credit or debit card information.
By completing a purchase through Lemon Squeezy, you may also be agreeing to Lemon Squeezy’s applicable Buyer Terms and policies.
Prices may change at any time. Price changes do not affect purchases that have already been completed.
4. Product Licenses
Purchase of an Archipelagy product does not transfer ownership of the underlying template, components, code, design system, or other intellectual property.
Instead, you receive a license to use the purchased product according to the license option selected at checkout and the terms of our License Agreement.
Single License
Use the product for one published personal, commercial, or client website.
Unlimited License
Use the product for unlimited personal, commercial, or client websites.
Additional terms, restrictions, and permitted uses are described in our License Agreement, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and the License Agreement regarding permitted use of a product, the License Agreement will control.
5. Prohibited Uses
Unless expressly permitted by the applicable license, you may not:
- Resell or redistribute an Archipelagy product
- Share or distribute a Remix link or product files to unauthorized users
- Republish a product as another template or digital product
- Sell or distribute individual Archipelagy components or code as standalone products
- Create a competing template, component library, UI kit, or digital resource primarily derived from an Archipelagy product
- Remove or circumvent licensing or access restrictions
- Use our products in violation of applicable law or the rights of another person or entity
You may customize products extensively for uses permitted by your purchased license.
6. Intellectual Property
Archipelagy products, website content, branding, designs, graphics, documentation, components, code, and other original materials are owned by Archipelagy or its applicable licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a product grants you only the rights specifically described in the applicable license.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
7. Framer and Other Third-Party Services
Some Archipelagy products are designed for use with third-party platforms such as Framer.
Archipelagy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for Framer or other third-party services unless expressly stated otherwise.
Third-party platforms may change their features, APIs, pricing, functionality, browser support, or other technical requirements at any time.
We make reasonable efforts to maintain our products and address significant compatibility issues where practical, but we cannot guarantee that every product or feature will remain compatible with every future version of a third-party platform, browser, device, or operating system.
8. Product Updates
We may periodically improve, modify, or update our products.
Where a product is advertised as including future updates, those updates will be made available to eligible purchasers when released.
However, we do not guarantee a particular update schedule, specific future features, or indefinite compatibility with third-party platforms.
We may also discontinue a product or stop providing updates when reasonably necessary.
9. Support
We want our products to work as intended and provide reasonable support for product-related questions and technical issues.
Support does not include custom website development, custom design work, extensive product customization, third-party troubleshooting unrelated to an Archipelagy product, or implementation services unless separately agreed.
You can contact us at support@archipelagy.com.
10. Refunds
Because Archipelagy products are digital goods made available immediately after purchase, purchases are generally non-refundable.
Limited exceptions may be available for issues such as duplicate purchases or significant technical problems that prevent the product from functioning as described.
Refund eligibility and procedures are described in our Refund Policy.
Because Lemon Squeezy acts as the merchant of record, approved refunds and payment-related matters may be processed through Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy states that its merchant-of-record responsibilities include payment processing, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
11. Product Responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing and customizing a product appropriately before publishing it.
This includes reviewing your:
- Content and imagery
- Accessibility
- SEO settings
- Privacy and cookie requirements
- Forms and integrations
- Third-party services
- Legal notices
- Website performance
- Responsive layouts
Archipelagy templates and components are design and development resources and do not guarantee that a finished website will satisfy every legal, accessibility, privacy, performance, or regulatory requirement applicable to your particular business or jurisdiction.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
We take care in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Archipelagy products.
However, except where otherwise required by law, our website and products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that every product will be uninterrupted, completely error-free, compatible with every third-party service or device, or suitable for every specific purpose.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Archipelagy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use or inability to use our website or products.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Archipelagy’s total liability arising from a particular product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
14. Privacy and Cookies
Your use of the Archipelagy website is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Where required, visitors may manage non-essential cookie preferences through the consent controls provided on our website.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, business, technology, service providers, or legal requirements.
Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
Changes will not retroactively reduce rights already granted under a completed product purchase unless required by law.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
Purchases processed by Lemon Squeezy are also subject to Lemon Squeezy’s applicable terms governing the transaction. Lemon Squeezy’s Buyer Terms separately describe the laws applicable to the buyer’s transaction with Lemon Squeezy.
