License Agreement
This agreement outlines how Archipelagy Framer templates may be used, shared, and distributed.
Effective Date: 08/31/2026
This License Agreement governs the use of digital products purchased from Archipelagy, LLC, including website templates, components, code components, and other downloadable or remixable digital products (“Products”).
By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using an Archipelagy Product, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. License Grant
Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Product according to the license option selected at the time of purchase.
Available license options may vary by Product. The applicable license type and permitted number of websites, projects, or uses will be identified on the Product page or at checkout.
Unless otherwise stated for a specific Product, a license permits you to customize and use the Product as part of a finished website or project, subject to the restrictions below.
2. License Options
License options may vary between Products and may include:
Single License
Permits use of the Product for one published personal, commercial, or client website or project.
Unlimited License
Permits use of the Product for unlimited personal, commercial, or client websites or projects by the individual or business that purchased the license.
An Unlimited License does not grant the right to redistribute, share, sublicense, resell, or republish the original Product or modified versions of the Product as a standalone digital product.
If a Product offers different license terms, the license option presented for that Product at the time of purchase will apply.
3. Permitted Use
Subject to the license purchased, you may:
- Customize the Product for your own projects or client projects
- Modify layouts, styles, content, components, and other included elements
- Use the Product for commercial or non-commercial purposes
- Use the Product as part of a finished website, experience, or client deliverable
You may make reasonable modifications necessary to create a finished project. These modifications do not transfer ownership of the original Product or grant redistribution rights.
4. Restrictions
Regardless of license type, you may not:
- Resell, redistribute, share, or sublicense the Product
- Share Remix links, source files, components, or code with anyone who is not authorized under your license
- Republish the Product, in whole or in substantial part, as another template, component library, UI kit, code component, starter kit, or digital product
- Make the Product or its source materials available for download through another marketplace, website, repository, or distribution platform
- Sell or distribute modified versions of the Product when the primary value of the resulting product remains the original Archipelagy Product
- Claim ownership or authorship of the original Product, design, or code
Purchase grants usage rights only. It does not transfer ownership of the Product or its underlying intellectual property.
5. Client Work
Where permitted by the purchased license, Products may be used to create finished websites or projects for clients.
A client may use and maintain the finished website or project delivered to them. However, the Product itself, including its source files, Remix links, reusable components, or code, may not be extracted, redistributed, or reused beyond what is permitted by the license purchased.
If a Single License is used for a client project, that license is considered used for that project and may not be reused for another published website or client project.
6. Intellectual Property
All Archipelagy Products, original designs, components, code, documentation, and related materials remain the intellectual property of Archipelagy, LLC, except for third-party materials expressly identified as belonging to their respective owners.
This Agreement grants permission to use the purchased Product according to the applicable license. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying Product, design, or code.
7. Modifications
You are free to modify a Product within the scope of your license.
Modified versions remain subject to this License Agreement and may not be resold, redistributed, sublicensed, or republished as standalone templates, components, code products, UI kits, or other digital products unless Archipelagy provides written permission.
8. Updates
Where Product updates are included with a purchase, access to those updates is provided to the original purchaser and remains subject to this License Agreement.
Archipelagy may modify, improve, replace, or discontinue Product features or future updates at its discretion.
9. Third-Party Platforms and Services
Archipelagy Products may be designed for or integrate with third-party platforms, services, fonts, plugins, libraries, or other tools.
Your use of third-party products or services is subject to their respective terms and licenses. Archipelagy does not control and is not responsible for changes made by third-party platforms or services that may affect a Product.
10. Termination
Violation of this License Agreement may result in termination of your license without refund.
Upon termination, you must stop using and distributing the Product and may be required to remove unauthorized copies or uses. Archipelagy reserves the right to revoke access in cases of misuse, unauthorized distribution, or other material violations of this Agreement.
11. Product Quality & Disclaimer
Archipelagy takes care in the design, development, and testing of its Products and makes reasonable efforts to provide Products that function as intended at the time of release. However, no digital product can be guaranteed to be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device, browser, third-party service, platform update, modification, or use case.
Products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

The purchaser is solely responsible for the finished website or project they create or deliver, including its content, functionality, accuracy, accessibility, privacy practices, data collection, legal disclosures, regulatory compliance, third-party integrations, and compliance with applicable laws and platform requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Archipelagy’s total liability arising from or relating to a Product will not exceed the amount paid by the purchaser for that Product.
